By accessing catena.work or submitting an application via app.catena.work, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read carefully before using our services.

1. The Service

CATENA is a recruitment platform connecting candidates with companies looking to hire. When you apply for a job, you interact with CATENA's systems and with the hiring company (our "Client") that posted the job.

2. Use of the Website (catena.work)

By accessing catena.work, you agree to: (a) not use the site for illegal purposes; (b) not attempt to access restricted areas without authorisation; (c) not reproduce or redistribute content without CATENA's express permission.

3. Candidate Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, truthful and up-to-date information in your application and CV
• Participate in the AI-assisted interview honestly, using your own words
• Not use AI-generated responses (e.g. ChatGPT) during the interview — this is automatically detected and flagged
• Not attempt to manipulate or circumvent CATENA's AI systems via prompt injection attacks in CVs or interview responses

4. AI-Assisted Interviews

CATENA uses artificial intelligence to conduct initial interviews via WhatsApp and/or web chat. By applying, you consent to: being contacted on the phone or email you provided; having your responses recorded, transcribed and analysed by AI; receiving an AI-generated compatibility score that may influence the hiring company's decision. You may decline the interview at any time.

5. Data & Privacy

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points: your application data is shared with the hiring company; we use AI tools (OpenAI) to analyse your CV and responses; we do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the CATENA platform (logos, interfaces, software, AI models, prompts) is the exclusive property of Catena Consultoria em Marketing LTDA You may not copy, reproduce or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

CATENA provides a recruitment facilitation service. We are not responsible for: hiring decisions made by companies using our platform; the accuracy of job descriptions; employment outcomes from applications submitted through our platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, Brazil, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
